Writing

Writing is reading put into action. Children learn important skills by writing and drawing. The following websites are a great resources for the literacy practice of writing or do one of the suggested activities from the list below:

  • • On a warm day paint letters on the sidewalk using water instead of paint.
  • • Talk to your children about what they draw and write captions for their pictures.
  • • When your child shows you his “writing” (scribbles on a page) have him read it to you.
